All volunteers are required to complete CMG online as well as any ministry training.


BAPTISM HOST TEAM
Volunteers who host Saturday baptisms on a rotation basis. The hosting team is responsible for the following:

• Prepare all that is needed prior to the baptism celebration
• Assist the Priest or Deacon during the baptism celebration
• Put away the supplies used

Presently, we have 7 teams who rotate and asist all Saturday baptism celebrations. We are desiring to surface multiple teams which will permit volunteers to serve at least once every three to four months.

BAPTISM WELCOMING TEAM
Our NEW bilingual Baptism Welcoming session is offered Saturday mornings, once a  month.  Volunteers will host this 1-hour session and facilitate the scripted discussion.

• Welcome the Families & Introductions
• Lead a reflection from a book
• Share specifics about St. Cecilia baptisms
• Invite to participate in ministry
• Farewell

MARRIAGE PREPARATION HOST and FACILITATOR
St. Cecilia Marriage Prep is monthly ministry from 9:30am - 1:00pm. 

The host commitment is monthly and the facilitator commitment is once every 4 months.

SPONSOR COUPLE
A couple-to-couple ministry in which married couples are willing to share their marriage experiences as they journey and mentor engaged couples to help them prepare for the Sacrament of Matrimony. A few of the following are suggested qualities:

• Belief that marriage is a permanent and faithful commitment between one man and one woman.
• Belief in God with an understanding that God and Church are necessary for a marriage to be successful.
• Willingness to share lived experiences of the sacrament.

Using five outlined sessions from Fr. Robert Ruhnke's book,  For Better and For Ever, an engaged couple meets with a sponsor couple in their home. Through individual reflection, written assignments and dialogue, the engaged couple learns from the couple living in a Catholic Christian marriage upon some of the realities of married life. 

Would Need To:

• Attend a training session.
• Willingness to journey with one or two engaged couples per year.
• Follow-up with the newly married couple during the first year of their marriage.

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT - The Choice Wine
There is a future plan of presenting Paradisus Dei's  The Choice Wine to married couples. Integrating the latest findings from modern science with the timeless teaching of the faith and the wisdom of the saints, The Choice Wine: 7 Steps to a Superabundant Marriage places authentic marital happiness within every couple’s reach. By opening to couples the interior life of the Holy Family at Nazareth, The Choice Wine helps couples to experience a foretaste of Paradise, in their marriage and family.
