The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a spiritual vocation that invites us to grow deeper in love with God through service to the poor. 

The Society of St Vincent DePaul (SVDP) provides meaningful assistance to families in the Spring Branch area. Vincentians visit families in their homes, listen to their stories, and assess their needs. In addition to providing rent and utility assistance, our teams are well versed on other forms of assistance available in Spring Branch. 

Vincentians have the chance to see and understand the deeper needs of those we visit, and to live the faith by loving and serving our neighbor. To become a Vincentian is to see the face of Christ in the poor.  It also offers the opportunity to bond with other Vincentians in prayer and action.  It is consequential and rewarding work.

VOLUNTEERS - Being a Vincentian only requires three or four hours service monthly.  If you are looking for a way to serve the poor by donating your time and talent, whether you are a college student, worker, school mom/ dad, or retiree - you are welcome to join us.  We need Spanish speakers and office help too.  

DONORS - The SVDP Society is the primary means by which the St. Cecilia Community reaches out to the poor.  The operation exists solely on donations from generous parishioners.  We greatly appreciate the support of the Parish, and could not do this work without it.
