A small group of people (approx. 6-12) that meet regularly at home for fellowship, prayer, and study. Each group or host decides on the topic. The office for Adult Formation can aid you in finding the right material or ideas for your group as well as advice on how to structure your meetings.
Small Christian Communities can be form by adults in every and any season of life
-Men/Women (just men, just women or mixed)
-Youth adults (post High School or College)
-Grandparents
-Singles
-Couples (young, seasoned or mixed)
Groups can meet at
-Host Home
-Parish grounds (with previous reservation)
-Restaurant/Cafe
-Online (Zoom)
-Hybrid (combination of in-person and online meetings)
Depending on the host and the members of the group, you might
-Discuss Faith Matters (Bible Study, Apologetics, Church History)
-Go deeper on the weekly Mass
-Have a support group
-Reading Club (for example a C.S. Lewis book club)
