The St. Cecilia Band

Mission: To encourage and support congregational singing by providing good liturgical music in a light, charismatic style; to enhance full, conscious, and active participation of the faithful during liturgical celebrations.  Special emphasis is placed on outreach to our teens and young adults.

The group utilizes 2 to 3 part harmony, keyboard, guitar, bass, and percussion.  Praise and Worship music is the norm for this group. 

Membership: This group is not for the beginner musician, and musical experience is necessary.

We Minister: Weekly at the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Mass, and on Christmas Eve.

We Rehearse: Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Music Room (located near the back entrance of the church near the covered driveway.)

Protecting the Youth and Vulnerable
All volunteers over 18 years of age are required to take the online Safe Environment training as mandated by the Archdiocese.  The training must be completed before an individual can volunteer for service. More information is available here.
