The seven Catholic Sacraments are: Baptism, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Confirmation, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick. The sacraments are ceremonies that point to what is sacred, significant, and important for Christians. They are special occasions for experiencing God’s saving presence.

First Eucharist (Children): To register your child for sacrament preparation, a student must be in second grade or higher, with one prior year of Catholic formation (at a parish or Catholic school) with excellent attendance.

Confirmation (High School) Preparation for confirmation for high school students takes place in the 9th grade and concludes in the 10th grade. At St. Cecilia, candidates for confirmation attend large group teachings and small group sessions on Sunday nights, at least one confirmation retreat, and take part in service opportunities in their church and community as part of this preparation. Confirmation (Adults) Sessions are offered in the spring of each year, with the sacrament being offered around Pentecost. Please see RCIA
Reconciliation (Confession) Is available on Saturdays from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in the church or by appointment with a priest.

Marriage/Weddings Please contact the church office for informationat least 9 months in advance of the desired marriage date. In addition, there is a required marriage formation class for engaged couples. A priest or deacon should be contacted to schedule the wedding and to initiate the marriage preparation.
