St. Cecilia Parish Nursery

The St. Cecilia Nursery welcomes you and thanks you for entrusting us with your child’s care. The Nursery is SUNDAYS open 15 minutes before the 8:00 am, 10:00 am, and 12:00 pm Masses on Sunday for children ages 4 months to 5 years.

Childcare is also offered for church-sponsored weekday and evening events with prior reservations from the event coordinator for children ages 4 months to 11 years. There is a limited number of spaces are available for each event, so RSVP early. 

Registration:

Parents need to fill out the CHILD INFORMATION FORM individually for each child.  Those forms must be turned into the PARISH OFFICE, NURSERY OFFICE, OR EMAIL TO MARTINA 1 WEEK before the event. Sunday use is the exception to this- forms may be filled out and turned in on that same Sunday which childcare is needed. These forms are valid from January- December of each calendar year only.

Arrival and Departures:

For the safety and security of the children, parents may not enter the classrooms but should drop off and pick up their children at the door to the room. Parents must sign-in the child before he or she can enter the classroom. Children with separation anxiety must be checked on 15 minutes after drop-off to help smoothly transition the child.

Health:

Children showing any signs of illness or having fever, cold, or other contagious diseases will not be allowed in the nursery to prevent spreading. Caregivers are not allowed to give any child medication; please do not leave any in your child’s diaper bag, except for diaper rash ointment.

Labeling:

Please label everything your children bring with them- diapers, diaper bags, bottles, etc. Do not bring personal belongings or valuable items. Parents will be notified if a snack is necessary for a given event. Lost and found items will be kept for 1 month in a container found at the Nursery entrance. 

PNO (Monthly Parent Night Out):

Parents Night Out is a ministry that promotes marriage enrichment through organized childcare on the second Saturday evening of each month 5:00 pm - 9: 30 pm -  (Dates vary at times). Spouses have the opportunity to have a quality one-on-one date together while their children make new friends, have fun, and are fed. Separate registration and a small fee are required and are dependent on availability. For the registration packet, email Martina Razo.
