If you are divorced, we invite you to explore the possibility of a declaration of nullity for your marriage. People normally enter marriage with good intentions, but sometimes marriages do not last. If your marriage has ended in divorce, we invite you to consider the possibility of a declaration of nullity for your marriage. The Catholic Church is sensitive to the pain and distress a failed marital relationship causes to all parties involved. We here at St. Cecilia would like to help you. A case sponsor is able to assist you if you are interested in petitioning for a possible annulment.

Who can Begin the Process
Any civilly divorced person, Catholic or not, may initiate the nullity process.

How to Begin
Please contact Karen Ann Martin, to set up an appointment with a case sponsor. We have have 8 case sponsors available in our pairshs. The case sponsor will serve as the informational source, guide and emotional support for you throughout the process. They will also help you determine the type of petition to complete for an annulment.
