For this year’s Diocesan Services Fund, Archbishop Joe S. Vásquez chose Pope Leo’s motto, In Illo Uno Unum — “In the One, We are One.” Through the One who is Christ, we are united as members of Christ’s Mystical Body. We experience this unity most profoundly in the Eucharist, where the Body and Blood of Christ become truly present to us on every altar in every church of our archdiocese.

This fall is the time to make scarves and hats for the needy men, women, and children in our Houston community. If you can’t knit or crochet, we encourage you to donate yarn or purchase warm hats and scarves to share. Sharing the warmth of Christ’s love through this ministry is very fulfilling. Any items can be dropped at the Pastoral Office until November 24th. If you need supplies to get started. Please go to the office and pick up some yarn.
Please contact Linda Kuper at scarvesministry@gmail.com if you have any questions. God bless you and help us keep our neighbors warm.
