Charitable Giving
The Charitable Giving Committee of St. Cecilia is a group of parishioners that evaluates requests and recommendsthe distribution of funds designated by the parish Finance council to organizations committed to furthering our mission. Our goal is to provide funds to community organizations that help improve the lives of others and provide the resources needed to help themselves.

Oktober Fest
Volunteers assist in planning and implementing the parish’s annual fundraising event. Fall Fest is held the first weekend of October and includes an all parish family dance, a raffle, a silent auction, games, rides, and more!

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic lay organization administered and supported by Catholic laymen, is a fraternal society (Order) seeking for each member (Brother Knight) to be more firmly rooted in faith, hope, and charity, to further their own growth in the knowledge of their Catholic faith. If you want to help those in need, serve your parish, and grow in your faith, then theKnights of Columbus is for you. Council 13357 seeks to transform the lives ofCatholic men, including yours.

Matachines
El grupo de Matachines Tonantzin participa en la celebración anual de la Virgen de Guadalupe en Sta. Cecilia. Son miembros de la Asociación Guadalupana que pertenece a la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston. Representan a Sta. Cecilia en diferentes medios como el Museo de Ciencias Naturales y de Artes en Houston, en sus diferentes exposiciones sobre la Virgen de Guadalupe, así como para la celebración Guadalupana que se lleva a cabo en el Centro de Convenciones de Houston en diciembre. También cuentan con estudio bíblico y apologético una vez por mes.

Stewardship Committee
The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to stimulate parishioners to become more involved and engaged in stewardship, to better achieve our parish mission, which is “To live and share the joy of the Gospel.”

Tech/Multmedia Ministry
Our ministry is responsible for live-streaming weekly Masses. No experience isnecessary, we will train you. If you have experience in multimedia production, such as video editing or graphic design, you are also an ideal candidatefor this ministry.

Our Welcoming Committee encourages newcomers to consider regular attendance and membership.
