Charitable Giving The Charitable Giving Committee of St. Cecilia is a group of parishioners that evaluates requests and recommendsthe distribution of funds designated by the parish Finance council to organizations committed to furthering our mission. Our goal is to provide funds to community organizations that help improve the lives of others and provide the resources needed to help themselves. Matachines El grupo de Matachines Tonantzin participa en la celebración anual de la Virgen de Guadalupe en Sta. Cecilia. Son miembros de la Asociación Guadalupana que pertenece a la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston. Representan a Sta. Cecilia en diferentes medios como el Museo de Ciencias Naturales y de Artes en Houston, en sus diferentes exposiciones sobre la Virgen de Guadalupe, así como para la celebración Guadalupana que se lleva a cabo en el Centro de Convenciones de Houston en diciembre.
