Training for those wishing to serve in one of the ministries of the Mass have been scheduled. Please read the information online and register in advance for training so we can be adequately prepared. Adults over 18 years of age must complete the CMG online Safe Environment training before you can begin serving. Altar Server Candidates for this ministry must be at least 10 years old at the time of the training and have celebrated their First Holy Communion. At least one parent must attend the first 15 minutes of the training. Training will begin promptly at the appointed time. You must arrive on time to participate in the training. Extra-ordinary Ministers of Holy Communion 18 years of age or a senior in high school. Living a life in communion with the teachings of the Catholic Church. If married, must be a Catholic marriage. EMHCs must be trained in the basic theology of the Eucharist as well as the proper handling of the Body and Blood of Christ. Please select one of the training sessions on the interest form below. Lectors give human voice to the Word of God in the assembly at Mass. Candidates for this ministry should have strong verbal and communication skills, be comfortable reading in front of a large group of people, and possess the willingness to commit oneself to the time, effort, and study required for the intelligent and sensitive proclamation of the scriptures.
