Building & Grounds Committee The function of this committee is to guide the pastor in developing and maintaining the parish's physical properties. These members contribute their experience in planning new projects and in providing programs to extend the life of existing facilities. The Building & Grounds Committee meets on the third Thursday of each month. Contact: Marlon Ayala | Ext: 174| ayala@saintcecilia.org Finance Council The Finance Council serves in a consultative capacity to the Pastor on financial matters. Council meets at least quarterly to review collections, expenses, and the financial position of the parish. The Council assists the Parish in the preparation of the Annual Budget, the Annual Financial Report to the Parishand Annually reviews the Internal Control Questionnaire to identify any control deficiencies that may exist. Money Counters The Money Counters are responsible for counting and depositing the weeklycollections of the Parish. There are two teams of volunteers who rotate everyother week on Monday mornings to complete the process. Each team consists of a Team Leader and at least four other individuals. Pastoral Council The Pastoral Council meets on the second Tuesday of the month. The PastoralCouncil serves as a consultative body for the parish. It provides counsel tothe rector to help envision, establish, plan, and monitor the mission and activities of the parish. There are twelve council members. Any confirmed Catholic who is a registered, active member of the parish is eligible to serve onthe council. The term of office is typically three years; elections for council areheld in January of each year. All parishioners are welcome to attend Pastoral Council meetings.
