Mission: To encourage and support congregational singing at our Spanish language liturgies by providing appropriate liturgical music; to enhance full, conscious and active participation of the faithful during liturgical celebrations.
All singers and instrumentalists are welcome. This group utilizes a variety of musical styles, voicings, and instrumentations, with special emphasis on Hispanic and Latin influences.
Membership: Previous musical experience is helpful, but certainly not required. Participants must simply possess a reasonably good singing voice (the ability to match and maintain pitch), and be willing to commit to rehearsals and services.
We Minister: This choir sings weekly at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language mass, as well as at weddings, holy days, and celebrations closely tied to the Hispanic culture, ie. Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Via Crucis, etc.
We Rehearse: Wednesday Evenings at 8:00 p.m. in the Music Room (located off the back entrance of the church near the covered driveway).
Coro Hispano is directed by Mr. Pablo Ocañas.
